The Renaissance restaurant by Lukas Gadeikis is a modern interpretation of Mediterranean style in the old town of Vilnius. Restaurant’s interior is based on Italian minimalism, with colours and materials creating a marine atmosphere. White, uneven walls that have a handmade feel resemble houses from Greek islands. Blue serviettes, furniture upholstery and curtains enhance the sea theme. Modern lights add to this effect even further, some reminiscent of the stars falling into the ocean, some like a rigging from an old sailing-ship, others still resembling black metal seagulls. Bleached oak furniture and floors look as if made from driftwood.
